A first-of-its kind free event for North Wales business owners on how to keep their businesses safe from cybercrime took place at Wrexham University on June 14.

On 12 June, North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner Andy Dunbobbin visited Ysgol Morgan Llwyd in Wrexham to see how a new and innovative youth engagement project is focusing on addressing the root causes of youth anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the area.

At a special meeting of Policing in Wales on the afternoon of June 8, North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner Andy Dunbobbin was named Chair of the forum for a one-year term.

North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner Andy Dunbobbin and North Wales Police are holding an advice surgery in the Parlwr Mawr Room at The Dragon Theatre, Jubilee Road for residents of Barmouth and surrounding areas from 2pm-4pm on June 21 as part of the PCC’s mission to bring policing closer to the people of the region.

At an event held on 22 May in Llandudno Junction, nearly 100 local business owners and public sector organisations from right across North Wales came together to look at the crucial issue of Modern Slavery, to understand how to identify it and discuss the risks it poses to the local economy.

The evening of Friday, May 19 saw farmers and their families from across North-West Wales come together at the Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon for an event looking at ways our rural communities can better protect themselves from crime, as well as crucial new measures being undertaken by North Wales Police to combat criminal activity across the region.

In our region, North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner, Andy Dunbobbin continues to scrutinise the work of North Wales Police through a wide variety of ways and recently conducted a further review at the quarterly Strategic Executive Board.
