PCC Andy Dunbobbin and North Wales Police are holding an advice surgery for residents of Llangefni and surrounding areas from 2-4pm on October 25 as part of the PCC’s mission to bring policing closer to the people of the region.

A new user-friendly service has launched to give support and advice to children and young people who find themselves victims of crime in North Wales. 

As part of ensuring that the people of North Wales are protected from fraud, the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Wales funded a pilot project for a Fraud Caseworker to join the team of specialist caseworkers in the Victim Help Centre.

The first meeting recently took place at North Wales Police HQ in Colwyn Bay of a new body – the Preventing and Reducing Harm Forum – whose aim is to raise awareness within North Wales of current prevention and harm reduction thinking around substance misuse.

On Wednesday 19 July, PCC Andy Dunbobbin visited Harlech and Ardudwy Leisure at their centre in Harlech, Gwynedd to meet the group behind the project and learn more about how they are benefitting from the funding received through the PCC’s Your Community, Your Choice initiative.
